The Nolan N120 1 is made from polycarbonate, a strong material that helps protect your head in case of an accident. This helmet is lightweight, weighing about 1703 grams, so it doesn’t feel too heavy when riding for a long time. The polycarbonate helmet comes in two shell sizes, which helps the N120-1 fit well on different people.
Comfort
The inner liner of this Nolan helmet is made from soft, eco-friendly fabric that dries fast and helps keep sweat away, so riders stay dry and comfortable. The cheek pads and crown pad are removable and washable, making it easy to keep the helmet fresh and clean.
If you wear glasses, this Touring / ADV helmet has a glasses-friendly design, so your glasses fit without feeling tight. The chin curtain helps block wind and noise, so the ride is quieter and more comfortable.
The micrometric closure makes it easy to fasten and unfasten the helmet, even while wearing gloves. The helmet is also prepared for Nolan communication systems, so riders can talk to others or listen to music while riding.
One of the best things about the N120-1 is the flip-over chin bar. Most modular helmets only flip the front part up, but this one rotates all the way to the back of the helmet. This gives the helmet better aerodynamics in the open-face position.
Visor
The N120-1 has a clear visor that gives a wide field of view, helping riders see better. The visor is scratch-resistant and protects against UV rays, so it stays clear and helps block the sun. A Pinlock lens is already installed, which stops visor condensation in different weather conditions. The visor mechanism closes tightly to reduce wind and noise when riding.
For sunny days, the helmet has an integrated sun visor that can be moved up and down with a slider mechanism. This helps protect your eyes from bright sunlight without needing sunglasses.
Ventilation
The N120-1 has good airflow to keep riders cool and comfortable. The chin vent sends air toward the visor to stop condensation, and the top vent lets fresh air in. At the back, exhausts let hot air out, so the helmet stays cooler inside. The EPS liner has air channels, which help air move through the helmet, making it more comfortable on hot days.
